Originally from Malaysia, Kim Leow is a character animator based in Vancouver, Canada. She initially emigrated to Canada in 2006 to attend the top animation school, Sheridan College, where she honed her animation skills before entering the industry. She began her career working on commercials before making the foray to work on features in 2012. Her choice of projects is often driven by the desire to expand her creative toolset and working alongside inspiring filmmakers.

She also single-handedly animated and completed all the CG elements for the award-winning short film, Fox and the Whale.
